ABOUT  ME

In college I thrived in my Sociology and English classes and felt deeply passionate about both subjects, which is why I was determined to study both at Manchester Metropolitan University. During my time at Manchester Metropolitan University I found a home where I could study the subjects that challenged me, yet also ignited something inside of me. However, finding a job combining these subjects appeared to be impossible.

Once I learnt about 'proper' marketing techniques, I began to understand the strength of my combined degree. I was able to understand the customer from a sociological perspective, whilst using my innate empathy and wide vocabulary to craft captions and blogs which would engage a target audience. There was a power to my words, and I could use them to make a positive difference in the world. Moreover, five years ago I discovered that my talent for organisation was not something that everyone shared. Due to growing up as a highly competitive Irish dancer, excellent time management and organisational skills were drilled into me. As an adult, I pride myself on these skills and they have now helped many successful business women, in the form of a Virtual Assistant specialising in Social Media and Content Writing.

Sometimes I reflect back on the confused teenager who didn't quite know her place in the world and it is both comforting and exhilarating to know that I truly have found my place in the world, when I created ALN Marketing. The company, brand and image are a dream I didn't know I had, until a little bit of courage made it so.

Working with ALN Marketing will ensure that you are collaborating with someone who is truly passionate about what she does. My aim is to work with other passionate business women and help them reach their business and personal goals. I wholeheartedly believe that in order to achieve 'success', and whatever that term means to you, requires a fistful of hard work, a sprinkle of determination and an overarching amount of love and belief.
